Loy Krathong is a festival in which people offer thanks to the Goddess of Water.
By moonlight people light their candles and make a wish.
SCC invites children to discover the culture of Thailand.
ロイクラトンは、満月（まんげつ）の夜（よる）、川（かわ）の
女神（めがみ）に感謝（かんしゃ）の気持（きも）ちを捧（ささ）げ、
願（ねが）いをこめて、ろうそくに火（ひ）をつけた灯篭（とうろう）を
川（かわ）に流（なが）す行事（ぎょうじ）です。
SCCは、子どもたちにタイの文化（ぶんか）を知（し）って
もらう企画（きかく）をしました。ぜひ参加（さんか）してください。

must be starts at the childhood stage. We offer this program for free who engage in monitoring and evaluating children's participation in our cultural diversity program.

we are going to publish a PARENTING GUIDE BOOK for International families.
Raising children is always a challenging task but raising kids in a foreign country
brings with it its own unique challenges.
We are in need of listening to your voices to publish a free parenting guide book,
dedicated to providing useful and local-interest resources for non-Japanese parents
who are raising children in Yokohama.
Why not chit-chat over tea and talk us about what resources and subjects are lacking
for families from a range of cultural backgrounds?
We hope this booklet offers resources and information on parenting that can help
families from abroad.

みらまち2017を11月19日（日）にアートフォーラムあざみ野で開催します。
こちらは、男女共同参画センター横浜北様と協働で実施する公募型事業に
応募し、採択していただいた企画です。

【イベント概要】
自分たちで未来のまちについて考え、仕事を作ったり、
就業体験をしたりできるイベントです。
参加方法は２種類。
■ 参加方法①お店を出す
自分で「まち」に必要な仕事を考え、出店する
参加対象：ワークショップ3回 ＋本番に参加できる親子
対象年齢：幼稚園年長〜小学生

Kids Chef "Family Riceball Making Class"
親子クッキング−紙芝居つき！英語でおにぎりづくり

Get your kids involved in the cooking with simple tasks and easy recipes
even the littlest chef can engage !
Instructor and owner of YOROKOBI Kitchen, Nahoko Ouchi will be demonstrating
in English and will show us how to prepare simple but tasty rice balls.
Onigiri, known as Japanese rice ball is a staple of Japanese lunch boxes (bento).
This is a bilingual family cooking class for families with children ages 4-12.
We are going to make two different types of rice balls, basic and decorative ones
for each participant. This program includes picture-story show “ Rolling Riceball”.

Come along and join us for an interactive aromatherapy
workshop to get your children involved during summer holiday !
Children and parents with a exploration of the senses through smell, we hope you enjoy the shared experience of creating a homemade essential oil insect repellent spray and a sticker to label on the bottle.
This workshop will include introduction to Aromatherapy :
learn the benefits of aromatherapy.
＊Please let us know in advance whether you are pregnant.
You should avoid participating this workshop during your
first trimester.
