【TECH KIDS April 30th - Kids Programming Workshop 】

Thank you so much for joining us at TECH KIDS today!

We had an experience of coding by using an unique visual art programming language called Viscuit. http://www.viscuit.com/

It's a fun, easy to use, drag and drop programming language so even the 4 year-old dived right into!

Just use “glasses “ and put a picture inside the glass lens, the

n the picture starts to move. No need to write a code. All you have to do is giving instruction to Viscuit with the glasses!

The more you make multiple identical copies of glasses, the more the motion gets complicated.

Not just drawing pictures on a tablet, facilitator Yukari gave us an assignment to create. So kids and parents had to think about the motion related to the theme.

"Rockets, balloons, rain drops …. What do they have in common?" —They all move up or down ! —So how can we put these in motion?

Children were so excited to see their pictures moving up and down or sideways on a display screen.

Hope to hold this kids programming workshop again!
