Thank you for attending our kick-off party!

A very warm thank you to everyone who joined our kick-off party on June 2, 2019!!!

We enjoyed tasty potluck dishes from Malaysia, Thai, Indonesia, Mexico, China, Korea, and Japan. Our nonprofit auditor, granjapon グランジャポン president Machiko Hoshino kindly offered some Spanish honey tea and honey biscuits which they import from Spain. Also, our director Elena from Costa-Rica prepared some drinks, and her homemade Sangria was awesome as always.

The highlight was the international quiz with prize and adults participated even more than the kids!!! The quiz from Thai “ What’s the longest capital city name in the world?” was amusing and participants enjoyed read aloud competition. Kids love a challenge and some kids tried reading out such a long Thai capital name to get a prize.

We set up an international market stall and sold some products from Thai, Mexico, and Costa-Rica. As a nonprofit, a portion of our sale donated to SCC to benefit the organization’s activities.

We hope you will help us out to promote diversity inclusion community across Yokohama by supporting our activities with a financial contribution.
