Family Art Event "The Dot"ーてんからはじまる展覧会

＼親子でアート「てんからはじまる展覧会」開催しました！／

ゼリーのカップ、緩衝材シート、ペットボトルのキャップ、卵のパックなど、さまざまな廃材を使って「てん（点）」をたくさん描きました。

最初は、親子で大きな模造紙に試し描き。どんな廃材で試し描きができるか話を聞いている時の子どもたちのキラキラした目が印象的でした。 ”こんな物で描けるんだ！やってみたい！” 子どもたちのワクワクする気持ちが伝わってきました。

一通り用意した廃材で点づくりを楽しんだ後は、パパやママたちに内緒で個人制作。ここはあえて親子の時間にせずに、子どもがやりたいように描いてもらいました。

廃材だけでは物足りず絵筆を使う子、絵の具を混ぜるのを楽しむ子、思い思いに活動していました。

その傍らでパパやママは子育てあるある座談会に参加。意外なことにアンケートでは「親同士の座談会で苦労話や工夫など、アイディアをシェアできて貴重な時間でした」と回答をいただきました。

そして最後は、てんからはじまる展覧会！

自分が作った作品にサインをして、額縁に入れて飾りました。「見て見て！」と親の手を引っ張りながら、自分の作品を見せる子どもたち。

小さな小さな展覧会で絵を描く楽しさを味わってもらえたかな。

次回の親子でアートは、2017年3月19日に開催します！

We hold a family art event “The Dot “ today !

Jelly cups, bubble wraps, plastic bottle caps, egg cartons and so on…we used these items to create interesting and colorful dot prints on paper.

While children were into printing dots, moms and dads had a round-table talk and shared the stresses and burdens of child rearing. One participant filled out the questionnaire and left a comment that “ It was a great chance to share the practical tips and advice on raising the kids.”

At the end of this event, we placed children’s framed art work on the wall to hold a tiny art exhibition.

Hope this event encouraged children to enjoy the process of making art.
