Thank you for making Mira machi a success !

SCC wants to express our appreciation to the many individuals, companies and organizations who contributed to the success for our kids business start up event, Miramachi.

We would like to extend our gratitude as well to the members of NPO法人bond place who came all the way from Yamanashi to support us !

All in all, the event was filled with excitement, fun and the child-directed activities.

We aim to foster proactive behavior in children and help make children’s right to have a chance to startup a business by holding a three part workshop from September. 10 children who want to run their business went through this process and finally opened one’s own shop.

With over 8 local business sponsors and 10 Miramachi children ’s stores including Miramachi bank and employment service center, nearly 80 children who signed up for the job experience performed JOBS and get paid for their work. Children work to earn DENTO (which is named after DENEN TOSHI ), Miramachi ’s own currency, so they can pay for goods and services in children’s city Miramachi.

Again, we want to thank all of the people who were involved in this project. Had a awesome time !
